Position Overview:

The Retention Strategist will be responsible for member engagement and retention initiatives and strategies. The candidate will spearhead efforts to increase member loyalty, increase referral rates, strategically re-engage with prior members (repeats and / or win-backs) and bolster customer experience.

The perfect candidate will also be excited to interact with our members - answering questions, resolving issues, and making the experience memorable. The majority of our conversations with our members happen via SMS. This team member will work closely with the Head of Customer Experience and the VP of Marketing to identify trends and flag critical feedback to drive success metrics across the board.

Responsibilities:


  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1+ years of retention marketing experience
  • Strong, data-driven mentality to identify key avenues for growth
  • Demonstrated project management, negotiations and problem solving skills
  • Proven ability to work independently, juggle multiple priorities and complete responsibilities in a fast paced, change oriented environment
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain effective work relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • A scrappy team player who is ready to hustle and pitch in wherever necessary.

  • Design retention strategies across multiple channels, both digital and through our delivery experience.
  • Work closely with the rest of the Marketing team to help evolve of our email, SMS, and overall content and member communications strategy.
  • Monitor metrics and analytics of campaigns to garner member insights to drive improvements in crucial business and experience metrics.
  • Measure and forecast churn, retention, and product performance.
  • Communicate with our members via SMS, email, and social media.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve members’ issues with care and respect - not by script.
  • Work cross-­functionally with leadership, operations, technology, and marketing teams to provide a seamless customer experience.
  • Identify and track issues & trends to improve the customer experience.
  • Identify opportunities for creating new & updating current processes.


Qualifications:
